Petal-Perfect Sunnies

 

I've been working on a red, white and blue collection.  Maybe it's the joy of the Olympics or just the summer, or a combo of both, but I had to bring a Sylvie twist to sunny days and starry nights.  This is the hero print of the Sun-Kissed & Star-Lit Sumner collection.  I'm really happy with how the prints turned out. I will share some others later.  My inner saboteur wanted me to scrap this print, but I hung on and got to something I really like and is the "star" of the collection (although there are a couple of bandana-esque prints that I truly love)

I want to own these sunglasses and hang out in a field of these imaginary flowers. 

When I started the collection, I was going for something that contains that celebration of summer in classic colors but patterns full of whimsy. I think I got there and I'm happy with the results. And although I love the Ralph Lauren Red White and Blue of the Olympic team, I think they could have used some of these shades  :)
